In addition to some 6.017 million Palestinians abroad, there are some 1.989 million refugees residing in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, as well as some 150,000 refugees who have been expelled from their land, but still reside in occupied Palestine In 1948, bringing the total number of Palestinian refugees to approximately 8.156 million, or about 67.4% of the total Palestinian population, in 2014. The number of refugees registered in the records of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reached about 5,589 million at the end of 2014 breeze. Stressing that there are many refugees who have not registered with UNRWA because they do not need their services or because they are not in their places of work such as the Gulf countries, Europe and America.
